Product Description: COMPOSITION:
Each ml contains: Tylosin Tartrate (Equivalent to Tylosin base 200mg) 220mg .
CHARACTER:
The product is yellow clear liquid.
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION
Tartaric tylosin belongs to macrolide antibacterial, and it is effective for gram-positive bacteria and some
gram-negative bacteria. Sensitive bacteria includes staphylococcus
aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, streptococcus pneumoniae, and
corynebacterium pyogenes, and so on. It is quite effective for
mycoplasma, and is a kind of stronger drugs which are effective for
mycoplasma among macrolide.
INDICATIONS:
Mainly used for the treatment of infection caused by mycoplasma and gram-positive
bacterium, such as chronic respiralory disease and infectious
sinusitis, mycoplasma pneumonia and mycoplasmal arthritis in swine. also
treats shipping fever, pneumonia, foot rot, and calf diphtheria, in
cattle. Treats pasteurella pneumonia and acute dysentery caused by
treponema hyodysenteriae.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Swine, sheep and poultry: Inject IM 5-13 mg/kg of body weight twice a day.
Cattle and camels: lnject I.M. 18 mg/kg of body Weight once a day.
Treatment should be continued 24 hours after symptoms stopped, and not to exceeded 3 days.
WARNING:
1. Do not use in lactating dairy cattle and laying hens.
2. Do not mix Tylosin Injection with other injectable solution which contains Iron, copper, aluminium as
this may cause precipitation of the active ingredients.
3. Do not administer to horses or other equine species.
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
Local reactions may occur after intramuscular administration, which will disappear in a few days. It is also
cause diarrhoea, epigastric pain and skin sensitization.
WITHDRAWAL TIME:
Cattle and swine: 21 days before slaughter.
Poultry: 28 days before slaughter.
STORAGE:
This product is suitable for dry and dark place to store.
Keep out of reach of children.
